We hired a small 2 person campervan from travelwheels as we wanted a reliable, clean and easy to drive camper. It was easy to park in the city centres, and very economical on fuel which helped us save money! We looked at other companies and loved the fact that we have a full sized fridge which worked off 2nd battery instead of a “tropical icebox or esky”! This meant that after driving all day we could stop by the beach and not pay for a camp site and our food and beers were still cold. First of all very friendly staff at travelwheels and they spoke German! We wanted a good camper that was easy to drive, safe and clean for our trip. We choose the hightop as we can all stand up inside of it. Great value for money and we didn’t stop at any campsites and instead stopped at beaches along the way. We decided to hire one of New Shape model hitop as we wanted a bigger kitchen as we love cooking and seeing the real Australia! We spend three weeks traveling between Sydney and Adelaide via the inland route and really enjoyed the camper. It was very comfortable and the price was great when compared to Britz or Apollo who were a lot more expensive. GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY CAMPER HIRE! We struggled to find a five person campervan without paying big money heading to Darwin from Melbourne. We searched on google and found travelwheels. Staff were friendly and they had a good deal on a five person van with all the kit and an extra tent included in the price. Great camper for families with small children as has two proper seat belt anchor points. We wanted a safe camper for the kids and found it difficult to hire a child friendly campervan hire in Australia. Travelwheels were great, very friendly and helpful staff! Camper was clean, a good price and had all the kit we need for a family holiday with the kids! Children loved it, so we have a peaceful time!
